With Canary, we were inspired by some synthwave vibes and wanted to incorporate that with our blend of rock and heavy. They lyrics touch on the idea of feeling lost and looking for a way forward. Canaries were used as a beacon of safety in the dark expanse of mines and I felt that was some cool imagery to use to express hope. Lots of rolling eights bass and vocal hooks on this one.
